NARROWSBURG, NY,  — The River Reporter officially launched its 2025 News Ambassador program in February, and a second informational session is scheduled for  Thursday, March 27 at 7 p.m. at the River Reporter office.

The program’s first meeting saw residents from across the Upper Delaware region join the staff at the River Reporter for a one-hour informational session covering a range of topics, including the program’s goals, the importance of the News Ambassadors at local town meetings, the importance of neutrality when covering town meetings, learning to listen and design thinking. A Q&A session was also facilitated so new News Ambassadors could understand their roles.

News Ambassadors will begin attending town meetings in March.

For more information and to RSVP for the meeting, contact Laurie Stuart at publisher@riverreporter.com or call 845/252-7414, ext 133.
