Richard Franceschi, 86, of Eldred, NY, formerly of Mahwah, NJ, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025, at home. Richard was born September 4, 1938, in New York City. He was a retired Police Chief of Ramsey, NJ, a Mason at Hawthorne-Fortitude Lodge in Ramsey, and a member of the Beaverbrook Rod and Gun Club. He was a past president of the Highland Seniors in Eldred.

He is survived by his wife Linda; his two children: Sharon and Lisa; and his five grandchildren: Peter, Billy, Grace, Caitlin and Isabella.

A private memorial service will be held later at the convenience of the family.
