NY STATE - New York State Agriculture Commissioner Richard A. Ball today alerted consumers of the potential under-processing of Toms Juice Ginger and Lime, which is manufactured by Toms Juice LLC located in New York, NY. There is a possibility that the product has been under processed, potentially rendering the product susceptible to pathogenic growth and toxin formation.
The product was distributed in New York from August through December 2024.
The product is packaged in two-ounce (2 oz) glass jars with UPC code 197644360666 and a sticker lot coding of 0012-0018. The sticker lot coding can be found on the bottom of the jar.
No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this product.
The issue was discovered during a New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets inspection, which revealed the product was potentially inadequately processed.
Consumers who have purchased Toms Juice Ginger and Lime product are urged to discard the product. Consumers with questions may contact Toms Juice at (646) 861-0286.
