PIKE COUNTY, PA — Brian M. Vennie was sworn in as the 44th sheriff of Pike County on Tuesday, February 18. Vennie comes to the office with over 31 years of law enforcement experience.

"I am humbled by the faith and trust placed in me to lead the Pike County Sheriff's Office. I look forward to working with the professional staff here and hope to build on the great work of sheriff Welsh, as he built on the great work of sheriff Bueki before him. It is an honor to serve the residents and visitors of Pike County as their sheriff," said Vennie.

"We are very fortunate to have such a capable and dedicated law enforcement professional stepping into this role," said the Pike County Commissioners.
