MONTICELLO, NY — Kids up to 16 years of age are invited to a free painting party at the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library on Saturday, June 21 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.  Their creations will be on display at an exhibit/reception at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance Krause Recital Hall Gallery in Narrowsburg on September 20.

Pablo Picasso famously said, “It took me a lifetime to learn to paint like a child,” and the organizers agree, saying, “Children are the world’s best artists.”  

Free painting parties for young artists are being held all around Sullivan County.

On September 20, from 4 p.m. to  6 p.m., “the young Picassos” will have an opening night, in which their work is displayed at the Delaware Valley Art Alliance Krause Recital Hall Gallery.
