SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY — Paula Elaine Kay, Democrat, was sworn in by the Honorable Judge Anthony Kane, retired, as the newly elected assemblywoman for the 100th district on Sunday, January 5.
The state legislative session is scheduled to begin during the second week of January. Kay was sworn in at the Thompson Town Hall.
She succeeds longtime assemblywoman Aileen Gunther.
