LIBERTY, NY — The Town of Liberty Parks and Recreation Department has started two programs to help residents and non-residents stay active during the winter season. Adult pickle ball is available to residents in a friendly, high-spirited and competitive social atmosphere. The program will run from now through March and is hosted on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Liberty Middle School gym from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The cost for Liberty residents is $10 and the cost for non-residents is $20.

An indoor walking program has also launched to help residents and non-residents stay active during the winter months. The program is available through the end of March and is hosted on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at the Liberty High School from 6 to 7 p.m. The cost for Liberty residents is $10 and the cost for non-residents is $20.

Both programs will be closed if the Liberty School District closes due to inclement weather. For more information call 845/292-7690 or visit www.townofliberty.org.
