BETHANY, PA — The Bethany Public Library will host an educational (and tasty) program on Sunday, October 30. Titled “A Tasting: How to Pair Wine & Chocolate,” it will be held at 2:30 p.m. at event venue 6th & River.
Chef/baker Marcia Dunsmore will be joined by bakers Julia Kent of Wildflour Bakehouse, and by Trix Render, formerly of Willow River Cafe, to prepare five tasting plates featuring bitter, bittersweet, dark, milk and white chocolates.
Claude Briere, sommelier at the Settlers Inn and the Settlers Hospitality Group, will select the wines to go with each tasting.
6th & River is located at 525 Church St.; the event is on the third floor.
Tickets for this library fundraiser cost $50 and must be purchased in advance.
Only 100 tickets will be sold, so don't delay; call the library at 570/253-4349 to reserve your place.
