Howell announced on Aug. 25, the Honorable President Judge Janine Edwards sentenced James Burrows, 48, of Uniondale, Wayne County PA to 28 months to 144 months after he previously pled guilty to Corruption of Minors and Unlawful Contact with Minors, both felonies.

HONESDALE, PA — Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced on Aug. 25, the Honorable President Judge Janine Edwards sentenced James Burrows, 48, of Uniondale, Wayne County PA to 28 months to 144 months after he previously pled guilty to Corruption of Minors and Unlawful Contact with Minors, both felonies.
In November 2021, Burrows was arrested after being caught communicating with a detective from the Massachusetts Internet Crimes Against Children Taskforce using social media accounts that depict a young female child.
Later in February 2022, Burrows was arrested after communicating with online predator catchers using social media accounts that depicted a young female child.
