NARROWSBURG, NY — For three days—Friday through Sunday, August 2-4—Mando Alvarado’s play “(O)n the 5:31” will be performed at the Tusten Theatre. Times are listed below.
The play features Raye Levine Spielberg, Ivette Dumeng and Tucker Lewis—and is a chance for a local audience to experience a new theatrical work before it heads to New York City.
Written and directed by Alvarado, “(O)n the 5:31” explores the 10-year span of a relationship as a grieving widower tries to piece together the fragments of his marriage from memory. The play explores life’s twists and turns, the power of memory and the difference between reality and how we remember it.
Times are 7 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. The box office and concession stand open 30 minutes before the show.
The theatre is located at 210 Bridge St.
Tickets for non-members of the DVAA cost $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tickets for members cost $20 and $25 respectively. Kids aged 12 and under are admitted free.
