KIAMESHA LAKE, NY — Catskill Regional Medical Group held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 25 for group’s newest facility Urgent Care & Primary Care at Adelaar.  The facility is located close to the new Resorts World Catskill casino (formerly Montreign.)

 More than 200 community, business and healthcare leaders gathered for the event and about a dozen people made brief remarks.  Several speakers mentioned that Sullivan County comes in next to last in the state in terms of health outcomes, the county is ranked 61 out of 62. They hoped that the new facility would be one step in improving the health of the county.

“With the opening of the Urgent Care and Primary Care at Adelaar, Catskill regional Medical Group is proud to offer access to quality medical care to our neighbors in Sullivan County and surround areas,” said Urgent Care Medical Director Dr. Rona Heublum-Colton.

The urgent care facility is open daily with services available 365 days a year. Primary care services are available seven days a week, but subject to holiday closures, visit www.catskillregionalmedicalgroup.org for more information.

The 11,000 square foot facility has 12 exam/procedure rooms. There are also laboratory spaces equipped with x-ray technology.
