NARROWSBURG, NY — Drawing on his background as a clinical psychologist, John Harvey will speak to the Upper Delaware Unitarian Universalist Fellowship on Sunday, February 9, starting at 10:15 a.m.
He will review exciting contemporary science that validates the many beneficial effects of time in nature on physical, emotional, cognitive and spiritual well-being. He will explore the various pathways for creating a deep nature connection and provide step-by-step guidance on how to spend time safely and beneficially in nature. He promises to share some of my most meaningful nature connections
These topics may be particularly relevant as many individuals are currently seeking ways to reduce stress and enhance their health and well-being by connecting with nature. In addition, a personal nature connection can foster environmental awareness and conservation activism.
