Michael Richard D’Ottavio

Richard D’Ottavio passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at 83 years old. He was born August 13, 1937 in Corona, Queens to Serafina and Michael D’Ottavio. He was one of four siblings: Agatha (Joseph), Madeline (Benny) and Mario (Margerite).

He then went on to move to Little Neck, Queens with his wife, Judy, and started their family there. He worked at Thypin Steel in Long Island City.

He leaves behind his wife, Judy, his daughter, Ann Marie (Dave) and three grandchildren: Valerio, Danielle and Thomas.

Michael was a man with a heart of gold. He seemed a little rough around the edges, but he was the most supportive and sincere person you could ever meet. There’s not a thing he wouldn’t do for his family and everyone who ever knew him is better because of it. He’ll continue to be loved by everyone while he rests in peace.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
