HONESDALE — Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell announced the following cases were addressed by the Honorable Janine Edwards, President Judge Wayne County Court on March 27, 2025:

ROGER ROMANCE, age 58, of Bushkill, PA was sentenced to three (3) days incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility followed by probation for a period of six (6) months on one count of DUI-Highest Rate.

JOHN CUTLER, age 20, of Waymart, PA was sentenced to no less than seven (7) months nor more than twenty- three and a half (23 ½) months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Simple Assault and one count of Harassment.

JASON EGLESIA, age 49, of Waymart, PA was sentenced to no less than twelve (12) months nor more than twenty-four (24) months incarcerated in a State Correctional Institution on one count of Simple Assault.

JOSHUA RICHARDS, age 28, of Moscow, PA was sentenced to no less than five (5) days incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility followed by Probation for a period of sixty (60) months on one count of DUI: Controlled Substance – 1st Offense and one count of DUI: Controlled Substance – 2nd Offense.

KATHLEEN LEENIG, age 46, of Philadelphia, PA was placed on Probation for a period of twenty-four (24) months on one count of Simple Assault and one count of Disorderly Conduct.

JASON APPLE, age 48, of Honesdale, PA was sentenced to no less than five (5) days nor more than twenty-three and half (23 ½) months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility on one count of Recklessly Endangering Another Person and one count of DUI.

MICHAEL TYAHLA, age 20, Honesdale, PA was sentenced to one hundred and fifty-five days (155) to thirty-six (36) months incarcerated in the Wayne County Correctional Facility followed by a period twenty-four (24) months on Probation on two counts of Criminal Trespass- Break into Structure, one count of Possessing Instruments of Crime, one count of Theft by Unlawful Taking or Disposition and one count of Criminal Mischief – Damage Property.
