Man charged after shooting at residence and business

HONESDALE, PA — Wayne County District Attorney A.G. Howell, announced on April 12,   Charles Cover, age 57, of Equinunk PA, was charged with Criminal  Mischief, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Discharging a Firearm into a  Structure, for shooting at and into the building of Big Power Racing in Lebanon  Township. The incident occurred on April 11. 

On April 14,  Cover was charged with Theft and Criminal Trespass.  On April 10,  Cover shot out a security camera and took the camera from a  residence in Damascus Township. 

Cover’s next court appearance is scheduled for May 10,  at central court. On April 26,  Cover waived his preliminary hearing regarding the incident in Lebanon Township. Cover is currently incarcerated in the Wayne  County Correctional Facility.
