A poetic appeal

The Big Muddy
(Sorry Mississippi)
The boat landing at the Ten Mile
Is in audacious condition!
You ought not go there
If you want to go fishing.
The mud is so deep it can swallow you whole.
Sometimes they find only your pole.
This decrepit condition mars the beauty that’s there,
You know you’re in trouble when you’re up to your hair
No kidding around this is serious stuff,
So whoever can fix this please get off your duff.
