The town clean-up days are May 19 and 20 at the old town hall highway department from 9 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Visit www.townofcochec tonny.org for more information.

Town Clerk Hollye Schulman would like to let everyone know she is home and doing well. Hollye would like to thank everyone for their continued support; she really appreciates it.

Update on Dottie Roycroft: she is back at a medical facility of the American Cancer Society in Philadelphia. Dottie has labs and clinic every Monday and Thursday. She needs magnesium transfusions; if she has three good lab days in a row, she can go home, but she will have to continue to go back once a week. Dottie will soon have a bone-marrow biopsy that should let her know if she reached remission. Dottie and her family would like to thank everyone for all their support, kindness, generosity and help during these traumatic times that the Roycoft family is going through. It’s been hard. The family has a long way to go.

Grand Knight James (Teddy) Laffin of Council 4478 would like to congratulate Fr. Joseph Raj of Holy Cross Church in Callicoon. Fr. Joseph made his first and second degrees on his way to Knighthood. If you are interested in becoming a Knight, give Teddy a call at 845/252-3630.
