I just had a great weekend down in Queens with my sister and her family. We are not going to be together for Thanksgiving. So we had a fake Thanksgiving on Saturday. It was great; got to meet my niece’s new boyfriend and my nephew’s new girlfriend. Then on Sunday, I had brunch with one of my cousins and my youngest brother was there. There’s nothing like family. On the way down, I stopped to visit Fr. Bill. He just got over having pneumonia, and he is doing well. Visit my Facebook page, and you will see a picture of him.

On November 2, I am going in for sinus surgery. As I understand it, they are going up my nose and cleaning out my sinuses, fixing my deviated septum and then inserting balloons that will stay up there and will dissolve over time. Sounds just lovely doesn’t it? I just want it to be over and the pain in my ear to stop.
