There is no place like home. The traffic this weekend was nuts—it took me almost five hours to go down to queens on Friday and a little over four to come home on Sunday. A lot of people must be visiting their fathers. My dad is in heaven, 23 years this September. I pray to him every day and thank him for raising me right and giving me a great childhood full of love. Saturday night I went to my old churches Festival St Gregory’s in Bellerose, Queens and met up with some of my classmates, class of 1974. We had a great time. Only eight showed up but it did not matter. We left the festival because it was raining and went to my old watering hole. We stayed out to 2:30 a.m. and had a ball.

The Cochecton Center Community Center, Inc. would like to thank all who participated in the Community Yard Sale held on June 10. A bake sale from local bakers, donated raffle items, refreshments from Heinle's General Store, and the use of Heinle's Baseball Field, all made a successful day in raising funds for the Community Center. Thank you for your support!

The CRMC Grover Hermann Auxiliary meeting was changed from Saturday, June 17 to Thursday, June 22. Same time, same place: 1:30 p.m. in the cafeteria. If you have any questions, call Dottie at 845/932-8487

Remember to always check out the New Cochecton Youth Commission Facebook page for upcoming events.
