Joann Peck of Narrowsburg, NY, longtime resident of the area, passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at Wayne Memorial Hospital Hospice, Honesdale, PA. She was 57.

The daughter of the late Nicholas and Margaret Weber DiBella, she was born in Astoria, NY on May 15, 1956. She was married for 38 years to Robert Peck, who survives.

Joann had worked for Wayne Memorial Hospital as a dietary aide. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier RC Church, Narrowsburg.

A family statement reads: “Joann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister in law. She was a kind person who always saw the good in people. She was a caregiver to the elderly. She truly was a special person that will be missed by all.”

She is survived by her husband, Robert; daughters, Carolyn Curreri and her husband Joseph of Beach Lake, PA, and Samantha Peck of Narrowsburg, NY; a son, Michael Peck of Narrowsburg, NY; four grandchildren, Hailey, David, Isabella and Joseph Curreri; and her sister in law, Linda Thorpe and her husband Gary of Beach Lake.

A mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the St. Francis Xavier R.C. Church, Narrowsburg. Rev. William Scully O.F.M. officiated. Burial was in Glen Cove Cemetery, Narrowsburg.
