‘Forever Ray’: A tribute to Ray Charles


MONTICELLO, NY — On Thursday, August 1 at 6 p.m., the E.B. Crawford Public Library is hosting a musical tribute to the music of Ray Charles with performances by musicians who have performed or recorded with Ray Charles, Alicia Keyes, Bruce Springsteen, Rod Stewart, Prince and Stevie Wonder, among others.

Jazz in the park


MILFORD, PA — Milford’s free Music in the Park summer concert series continues this Sunday, July 28 from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Ann Street Memorial Park on 5th Street. Two jazz bands, the Glenn Heller Trio and the Robert Kopec Quartet, will be performing.

Weekend of Chamber Music’s ‘Sommerwind’


HONESDALE, PA — On Sunday, July 28, The Cooperage, at 1030 Main St., is hosting a concert of the Weekend of Chamber Music’s “Sommerwind.” The show begins at 4 p.m. with doors opening at 3:30. A suggested donation is $15 in advance or $20 collected at the door.

‘At the Farm’ gets hoppy


MILANVILLE, PA — On Saturday, July 27, The Cooperage Project is bringing its educational programming and entertainment to Second District Vineyard and Hops Farm for the third event of the series from 3 to 7 p.m.

Property manager and hops farmer Scotty Kurtain will start the day with a tour of the hop-yard until 4:30 p.m. Philadelphia-based country band Roger Harvery and the High Lifers will take over from 5 to 7 p.m. to provide live music, during which refreshments from Second District Brewing and the Mustard Seed Café will be available for purchase.

Do not bring any animals, and this is not BYOB. The event is family friendly and will occur rain or shine. Seating is limited so you may bring lawn chairs.
