Sadly, rain dampened attendance and drove some vendors away on opening day of the third annual Steampunk festival on Honesdale’s Main Street last weekend. But on Sunday afternoon, said Greater Honesdale Partnership (GHP) outreach coordinator Lisa Burns, the action picked up, with everyone enjoying the sunny day. Among the Steampunk diehards, we found “Professor Adam Smasher” and his partner, who preferred to remain anonymous, dressed for the occassion. The GHP, Burns said, plans to bring the fest back next year.
