I wish you a Merry Christmas and an extremely healthy and happy new year in 2021.

Yes, it is that time of year: tax season. The town hall will be open to pay your taxes in person as long as you have a mask on. I love you all, but I do not want your cooties. It’s going to be very difficult because I love when you guys visit the office and chat away.

Town of Cochecton, please take notice that I, Eileen Hennessy, the tax collector of the Town of Cochecton in Sullivan County, NY will be collecting the 2021 town and county taxes in the Town of Cochecton Town Hall, located at 74 Smales Rd., Cochecton NY 12752. Taxes will be received in my office on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday by appointment. After January 31, the following is a graduated interest schedule: An additional one percent through February and two percent through March. In addition, a $2 penalty will be added to your bill if it is not paid when the unpaid notices are sent on or before March 5, as per state law.
