Whether it’s trying out a new hobby, spending more time with friends, or just enjoying the little things, this year is full of possibilities. Let’s make it awesome, stay positive, and find new reasons to smile every day. Here’s to an exciting start and making it the best year yet!
Here are some events happening our communities and beyond:
The 2025 town tax bills were mailed on December 29, 2024. Hours for the office of the tax collector, Eileen Hennessy, are Tuesday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Wednesday and Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. If you need to make an appointment, call 845/932-8360 ext. 17 during those hours. The best way to contact her is via email at taxcollector@townofcochectonny.org. If you would like to pay by credit card, visit www.shorturl.at/cM3gn.
Be advised, Eileen is not the school tax collector. If you have questions on back taxes please call the Sullivan County Treasurer at 845/807-0200.
Start the New Year by making a life-changing impact in your community: volunteer with the Cochecton Volunteer Ambulance. Your time and dedication can help save lives, bring comfort to neighbors in need and create a safer, stronger town for everyone. Volunteering is an opportunity to make a difference where it matters most, build new skills and friendships, and be part of a team that truly cares. Be someone’s miracle as we step into a brighter future together. Apply today at www.tinyurl.com/cvacapplication and start 2025 by making a real difference!
