Guide shows how to recycle in Pike County

MILFORD, PA ― Want to learn more about recycling and the environment? Want to know what recycling programs are available in Pike County?

The Office of Community Planning figures only twenty percent of the county’s solid waste is recycled. To fix that, they’ve released a Residential Recycling Services Guide to explain the environmental benefits of recycling and list the many programs available in the county.

The guide shows residents and businesses the sustainable and cost-effective ways they can manage waste. Learn recycling dos and don’ts, how to recycle, and get helpful tips on reducing waste. There’s a list of public recycling and yard waste services organized by municipality, along with contact information and program details. There’s also a table of private recycling services for county residents.

Visit www.pikepa.org and find the full guide under the “Frequently Requested” heading.
