MILFORD, PA — Powerhowz Arts & Entertainment presents “Child of the Empire: A Little Girl Grows from Zero to Twelve in Ninety Minutes” on Saturday, May 19 at 8 p.m.at the Milford Theater. Performance artist Ruby Lynn Willis will present her journey of survival and tales of triumph through music, movement and words.

“This show isn’t a simple thing or an easy ride. My roles in this production include being the writer of the vignettes, being moved to create musical pieces, daring to express the unspeakable using dance, living it all, and still having my heart full of happiness and hope. “

The Milford Theater is located at 114 East Catharine St. Doors open at 7 p.m. There will be an after-party. Tickets cost $20, and can purchased at the door or through eventbrite.com. All proceeds will benefit TANDEMoments, an organization whose goal is to positively impact the lives of traumatic-brain-injury survivors.
