JEFFERSONVILLE, NY — On Wednesday, May 8, the Sullivan West’s girls’ track and field team garnered their fifth consecutive Division 4 title by defeating John S. Burke with a final score of 116-16.
According to coach Josef Seidl, the victory extends their winning streak to an impressive 35 consecutive meets, dating back to the spring of 2014, and wrapped up the regular season with a 6-0 record.
“This resounding victory was a total team effort,” said Seidl.
On Thursday, May 23, the Lady Bulldogs thin clads are poised to defend their OCIAA Section IX title at Faller Field.
