HAWLEY, PA — You can celebrate Earth’s diverse plants and animals at the sixth annual March for Science #WildHawley Parade on Saturday, April 14. Get started on your costume at the Hawley Public Library for a Costume Creation Workshop on Saturday, April 7 presented by NaturED.
DIY, reused and repurposed costumes are encouraged. Signs should express a motivational message. The #WildHawley Parade Facebook page has costume ideas and past event images. “We’re always impressed with the creativity and passion of the community,” says Jenna Mauder, event coordinator for NaturED. Bring a costume to repurpose (optional). Become an insect with cardboard and egg cartons. Donations are appreciated.
