NARROWSBURG, NY — Josh Fox, the Emmy award-winning director of “Gasland,” brings his newest piece, “The Truth Has Changed,” to The Narrowsburg Union on Saturday, September 8. Fox will perform in Delaware Hall in preparation for the official world premiere and book launch on September 11 at the New York City Town Hall and the subsequent National Grassroots Tour. The September 8 performance is the second of two to be performed at The Union.

“The Truth Has Changed” is a solo monologue that traces the arc of American political life from 9/11 to Trump from a frontline perspective. From his experience as a first responder during 9/11, to his groundbreaking reporting on fracking, to his eye-opening eco-flights over the Gulf of Mexico during the BP oil spill, to Hurricane Sandy, to the massive rallies for Bernie Sanders during the 2016 election and the Democratic Convention to Standing Rock and beyond, Josh Fox has been an active eyewitness to history.

The project was commissioned by legendary documentary producer Sheila Nevins for HBO as a solo performance to inspire action on climate change, fracking and democracy.

Golden Globe winner Alex Ebert of Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeroes has penned the score for this performance.

This event is co-hosted by The Narrowsburg Union and Damascus Citizens for Sustainability. Tickets cost $10 and $20 and are on sale now at www.narrowsburgunion.com/delaware-hall.
