MIDDLETOWN, NY — Garnet Health Medical Center will host a special book signing event with local author Stephanie Lock on Friday, October 10, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Garnet Health Medical Center’s gift shop. Lock’s new children’s book, titled “If Goldfish Were Bluebirds: A Story About Self-Acceptance,” encourages children and adults to embrace self-acceptance.
Lock holds a master’s degree in school counseling and works primarily with preschool-aged students, addressing social, emotional and behavioral needs.
In addition to the book signing, the event will feature items for sale from local vendors, including:
Handmade cupcakes from Lisa Bedosky of Momma B’s
Crocheted goldfish keychains from Maddie Dockery of Granny by Nature
Chocolate-covered pretzels from Gemma of Crunchie Freshly Dipped Pretzels
The event is free and open to the public.
The medical center and gift shop are located at 707 E. Main St.
