Slambovian Circus of Dreams comes to The Cooperage

HONESDALE, PA — On Sunday, March 17, RiverFolk Concerts presents New York’s Slambovian Circus of Dreams at The Cooperage. The group is described as “a riveting, mesmerizing, crazy, amazing machine of music.” Doors open at 4 and the show starts at 5 p.m. Tickets cost $20 in advance or $25 at the door. Dinner and drinks by the fireside

CALLICOON, NY — On Thursday, March 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., join Kathy Geary at the Western for music, dinner and drinks. Geary is a singer, guitarist and pianist, and will perform music from Leonard Cohen, Joni Mitchell, piano solos from Debussy and her own original songs.



Music, magic and dance at the Cooperage

HONESDALE, PA — On Friday, March 15, the Cooperage is hosting a variety show and dance party. Doors open at 7, performances begin at 7:30 and dancing will go until 11 p.m. There will be performances by magician and entertainer The Great Dubini, NYC comedian and musician Wilfredo, and DJs Sommer Santoror, Gary Moss and his son Alden will spin music that spans the decades. The event is for adults only and is BYOB with a suggested $10 donation for entry.



DVAA’s winter Salon Series continues with Natalia Zukerman

NARROWSBURG, NY — The Delaware Valley Arts Alliance’s winter Salon Series continues on Saturday, March 16 at 2 p.m. Songwriter, painter and storyteller Natalia Zukerman will perform “The Women Who Rode Away,” which will feature original music and projected paintings. The show is fitting for Women’s History Month, as it centers around Zukerman’s personal journey and how women in her life helped pave the way. LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — The Laugh Tour is coming to the Arnold House on Saturday, March 16 at 8 p.m. Comedians Meghan Hanley, Michelle Slonim and Rich Kiamco will each perform a set. Tickets are available at the door for $20, or you can call 845/439-5070 to reserve a ticket and/or a table for dinner.

Meghan Hanley has appeared on MSG Network, Fox’s Laughs and Gotham Comedy Live and has been featured in several festivals. She just finished her first tour with Armed Forces Entertainment, spending the last few months performing for the troops in Kosovo, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium and England. Hanley is also a writer and sports blogger.

Rich Kiamco began his comedy career as a costume designer and back-up dancer for coedian Judy Tenuta in Las Vegas. Since then, he’s appeared on the Howard Stern Show, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy and the Wendy Williams Show.  He had an extended comic residency at Broadway Comedy Club and has been featured in serveral festivals.

Michelle Slonim was cast in a sketch for Late Night with Seth Meyers only two days after giving birth to a baby girl. Since then she has appeared in the New York Comedy Festival and on Comedy Central. She says she plans to have a second child so she can make an appearance on Conan.
