NARROWSBURG, NY — Fort Delaware Museum of Colonial History in Narrowsburg has announced its schedule of special programs for the upcoming holiday weekend.
For the fourth consecutive year, the series of presentations is sponsored by Bold Gold Media.
On Friday, July 4 at 4 p.m., Frederick Douglass’s famous speech, titled, “What to the Slave Is the Fourth of July?” will be recited by Oliver King as he portrays Frederick Douglass.
On Saturday, July 5, retired military officer and former U.S. congressman Chris Gibson, Ph.D will discuss his book, “The Spirit of Philadelphia: A Call to Rediscover the Founding Principles,” with a book signing by the author to follow.
