Fire in Cochecton

About a dozen fire trucks responded to a fire on Bernas Rd. in the Town of Cochecton. Smoke was coming from the roof of a barn that was outfitted with solar panels. Firefighters cut through the ice of the pond next to the barn to get to the water. At just before 4:00 pm on January 31, firefighters were still working the structure fire.
