FORESTBURGH, NY — The Forestburgh Playhouse presentation of “Fiddler on the Roof” will run through Sunday, August 12. Shows are at 8 p.m. every Tuesday through Saturday, 2 p.m. on Wednesdays and 3 p.m. on Sundays.
The award-winning tale of Tevye the Dairyman and his family’s struggles in a changing Russia was the winner of nine Tony Awards when it debuted in 1964. The brainchild of Broadway legends Jerome Robbins and Harold Prince, songwriters Jerry Bock and Sheldon Harnick, and book writer, Joseph Stein, “Fiddler on the Roof” has touched audiences worldwide with its humor, warmth and honesty. Always a Forestburgh Playhouse favorite, “Fiddler on the Roof” features songs like “Tradition,” “Sunrise, Sunset,” “Matchmaker” and more. For tickets visit www.fbplayhouse.org or call 845/794-1194.
