PALMYRA TOWNSHIP, PA — A single-vehicle crash occurred in Palmyra Township, Wayne County, on Texas Palmyra Highway (Route 6 West) on Saturday night at approximately 9:50 p.m. The collision resulted in a fully involved vehicle fire.
The Office of the Wayne County Coroner was dispatched at 10:14 p.m. to respond to the scene.
Timothy D. Hnatko, 24, of Hawley, PA was pronounced dead in the vehicle, at the scene, at 11:01 p.m. by Edward R. Howell, Wayne County Coroner. The cause of death was Carbon monoxide poisoning due to a vehicle fire resulting from a motor vehicle accident.
