Fallsburg resident arrested following an investigation of a stolen vehicle.

FALLBURG — On October 3, 2025, Fallsburg Police received a report from a resident of Houston, TX that he had purchased a luxury vehicle off an online auction site from a dealership located in New Jersey and he believed the vehicle was in the Town Of Fallsburg.

Upon purchase of the vehicle, it was a1Tanged to be delivered from New Jersey to Texas. Upon further investigation by Officers and Detectives it was discovered that the vehicle, a 2016 Bentley was delivered to Flushing, NY and fraudulently turned over to a third party.

Officers and Detectives discovered that a New York title was fraudulently issued for the vehicle, which already had an existing New Jersey title. The New York title was issued to a resident with a Town of Fallsburg address.

On October 8, 2025, Fallsburg Police responded to an address in Fallsburg and located the stolen vehicle along with a male subject at the residence. Upon further investigation, Ahmed F. Aziz was arrested and charged with one count of PL Section 165 .45 Sub 05- Criminal Possession of Stolen Property in the 4th degree a class E Felony. In accordance with bail reform laws, the defendant was released on an appearance ticket and is set to appear in the Town of Fallsburg Justice Court at a later date.

Fallsburg Police were assisted in the investigation by members of the Houston Texas Police Department, Harris County Sheriffs Office (TX), NYPD, DMV Investigators, and the Sullivan County District Attorney's Office.

Criminal charges are merely allegations that a defendant has committed violations of the criminal law, and as such they are not evidence of guilt. All defendants have a presumption of innocence and are entitled to a fair trial, during which it will be the burden of the State of New York to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
