HARRIS, NY — The Catskill Regional Medical Center’s Grover M. Hermann Hospital Auxiliary recently honored Dorothy “Dottie” Schlegel for her years of service as president of the auxiliary.
Schlegel served from 2007 to 2018, and under her leadership, the auxiliary worked closely with Vice President of Patient Care Services and Chief Nursing Officer Roland “Boomer” Bojo to assist the hospital in several expansions, new equipment purchases and other enhancements.
“Dottie has been a true inspiration to all who have worked with her,” Bojo said. “Her drive and push have led to the successful funding of many patient center projects at Callicoon.”
The Grover M. Hermann Hospital Auxiliary was established in 1971 to promote the hospital and improve its community relations. The auxiliary enhances patient care through fundraising, by purchasing equipment and items that affect the well being and comfort of patients.
