MONTICELLO, NY — The Democratic Party will be holding a Monticello primary election to nominate two candidates to run for two, four-year village trustee seats. The primary will be held on Tuesday, January 25, at the Ted Stroebele Center (formerly the Neighborhood Facility) from 12 noon to 9 p.m. Only enrolled members of the Democratic Party in election districts 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10 of the Town of Thompson, who reside in the Village of Monticello, are eligible to vote in this Democratic primary. The candidates whose names will appear on the ballot (in alphabetical order) are: Michael Greco, Gordon Jenkins, Rochelle Massey and Charles Sabatino. The two candidates selected in the primary will run on the Democratic line in the village election to be held on March 15.
