Ned Jacobs, 90, of Bethel, NY, passed away September 1, 2022, at Garnet Health Medical Center. Ned was born September 22, 1931 in Patterson, NJ. A church service will be held on Saturday, November 19 at 11 a.m. at the Fosterdale United Methodist Church, 3100 State Rte. 17B in Fosterdale, NY. Interment will take place at the Ponds Cemetery in Oakland, NJ.
Anna Mary Noble McGrath, 92, of Harrisburg, PA and formerly of Damascus, PA, passed away September 28, 2022. Anna was born June 26, 1930 in Honesdale, PA. The family plans to celebrate Anna’s life with a huge family dinner.
Brenda Elizabeth Monahan, 85, of Jeffersonville, NY, passed away October 4, 2022 at home. Brenda was born September 17, 1937 in Newcastle upon Tyne in the U.K. In keeping with Brenda’s wishes, there will be no service.
Jean Christine (Babel) Oprisko, 89, of Honesdale, PA, passed away September 29, 2022 at Wayne Woodlands Manor in Waymart, PA. Jean was born August 8, 1933 in the Bronx, NY. Funeral services were held October 8 at Hessling Murray Funeral Home in Honesdale.
Carol Ann Caputo Pagnozzi, 84, passed away October 2, 2022 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA. Carol was born January 4, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY. A Mass of Christian burial was held October 10 at St. Francis Xavier RC Church in Narrowsburg, NY. Burial followed in St. Francis Cemetery in Narrowsburg.
Judith (Judy) Blough Wentz, 86, of Hobe Sound, FL and formerly of Hawley, PA, passed away September 23, 2022 at home. Judith was born January 6, 1936. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 15 at First Presbyterian Church in Hawley, followed by a reception at the Blooming Grove Club.
