Laurence “Larry” Chiocchi, 70, of Shohola, PA, passed away January 9, 2023 at Garnet Health Medical Center in Middletown, NY. Larry was born in Fair Lawn, NJ. A Mass of Christian burial was held January 14 at St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Shohola. Burial followed in the parish cemetery.
Connie R. Gopel, 68, of Narrowsburg, NY, passed away January 11, 2023. Connie was born November 16, 1954 in Callicoon, NY. A funeral service was held January 18 at Stewart-Murphy Funeral Home in Callicoon. Burial will be at the Laurel Cemetery in Cochecton Center, NY.
Gary Allen Lockwood, 90, of Lookout, PA, passed away January 6, 2023 at Gracedale Nursing Home in Nazareth, PA. Gary was born June 8, 1932 in Honesdale, PA.
Jay Thomas Mattox, 58, of Honesdale, PA, passed away January 5, 2023 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale. Jay was born April 8, 1964 in Atlanta, GA. A graveside service will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Honesdale.
Eileen C. Meyer, 77, of Beach Lake, PA, passed away January 6, 2023 at home. Eileen was born August 22, 1945 in Honesdale, PA. There will be a private interment of her cremains at the Beach Lake Cemetery in Beach Lake.
William H. “Wink” Reid, 78, of Hawley, PA, passed away January 13, 2023 at home. William was born September 24, 1944 in Honesdale, PA.
Lois Mackle Terrel, 93, of Waymart, PA, passed away January 14, 2023 at home. Lois was born July 22, 1929 in Seelyville, PA. There will be a viewing on Friday, January 20 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturday, January 21 at 12 noon, in the Clinton Center Baptist Church in Waymart. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m., following the Saturday viewing. The church is located at 1000 Belmont Tpk. Burial will be held in May in the Clinton Center Cemetery.
