Elmer Day, 72, of South Canaan, PA, passed away July 17, 2020 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center. Elmer was born February 2, 1948 in Hancock, NY. A celebration of Elmer’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on August 2 at the Salem Lodge #330 Masonic Pavilion Route 191 in Hamlin, PA. Private interment will be at Simon Cemetery in South Canaan, PA.

William Joseph Deitz

William Joseph Deitz, 45, of Port Jervis, NY, passed away July 14, 2020. William was born June 18, 1975 in Port Jervis. Services will be private at the convenience of the family.

Irene Mary Nalesnik, 91, of Bethany Village, Bethany, PA, passed away July 16, 2020 at Wayne Memorial Hospital. Irene was born in 1929 in Bayonne, NJ. Private services will be held due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Lucille Doris O’Neill (Beauregard)

Lucille Doris O’Neill, 88, of Honesdale, PA, passed away July 15, 2020 at Bethany Village. Lucille was born May 22, 1932 in Burlington, VT. Due to the current health restrictions, a private Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Honesdale. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

Jeanne Marie Quigan Scott

Jeanne Marie Quigan Scott, 95, of Bethel, NY, passed away May 22, 2020  at home. Jeanne was born December 28, 1924 in New York City. A private family service was held at Fulton-Fraser Cemetery in Ferndale, NY. A memorial service will be planned for a later date when everyone can gather safely.

Thelma R. Stratton, 86, of Tuscaloosa, AL, formerly of Waymart, PA, passed away July 14, 2020 at Heritage Healthcare in Alabama. Thelma was born March 22, 1934 in Waymart. Private interment in the Aldenville Cemetery will be held at the convenience of the family.
