Cheryl Lynn Dannacher of Monticello, NY, passed away on Sunday March 30, 2025 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale, PA, after a long battle with colon cancer. She was 49 years old. Cheryl was born April 8, 1975 in Middletown, NY. She was the daughter of the late Ralph and Myrtle (Hyde) Donnelly Sr.
Cheryl worked at the Villa Roma Resort and Conference Center since she graduated from Jeffersonville-Youngsville Central School. She also spent many years delivering newspapers in Monticello. She loved socializing and spending time with family and friends, along with her love of playing Yahtzee.
Cheryl is survived by her husband William Dannacher Sr.; her children William Herman Dannacher Jr. and Adam John Dannacher; her siblings RoseMarie (Joseph) DePuy Sr. of Kerhonkson, NY; Ralph Donnelly Jr. of Cochecton, NY; Robert(Veronica) Donnelly Sr. of Cochecton, NY; Lillian Bernas of Towanda, PA; Dianna(Thomas) Wonesky Jr. of Beach Lake, PA; Myrtle(Joseph) Quinn of Honesdale, PA; Jennifer(Robert) Harvey-Slater of Castle Rock, CO; and William(Michelle) Harvey of Olympia, WA; in-laws Robert(Holly) Dannacher of New Jersey and Rose(Robert) Carabello of New Jersey; nieces and nephews: Ronnie(Nikki) Robinson; Joseph(Glenda) DePuy Jr.; John(Raina) DePuy; Haley Wonesky; Thomas Wonesky III; Scott Wonesky; Robert Donnelly Jr.; Jessica Donnelly; Michael Donnelly; Drew Ruff; Luke Bernas; Morgan, Ryan, Josh, Bailey, Kayleigh and Dana Carabello; Nicole(Josh) Vasquez; and Danielle Dannacher; great-nieces and -nephews: Landon, Jackson, Skylar, Marshall, Asher, Phoenix and Logan; aunts and uncles: Nancy Donnelly of Woodridge, NY; Roberta Hust of Midway Park, NC; Maria Hyde of Damascus, PA; Susan Hyde of Great Mills, MD, Edward(Diana)Hyde of Copperas, TX; Gordon Hyde of Ohio; and Charles Hyde of Midway Park, NC, as well as many cousins.
A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family.
