HAWLEY, PA — The Chamber of the Northern Poconos announced the honorees for its upcoming annual Community Awards Banquet. The banquet will be held on Thursday, October 2 at the Inn at Woodloch. The evening will begin with a Meet & Greet at 5:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets must be reserved by September 25.
The event, co-chaired by Pete Bochnovich, CEO of the Dime Bank; and Derek Bellinger of Wayne Bank; will bring the community together for an evening of celebration, recognition and camaraderie.
“This promises to be a wonderful evening, and as co-chairpersons, we look forward to welcoming the community as we honor these incredible individuals and organizations,” said Bochnovich and Bellinger.
The chamber will recognize several outstanding honorees whose dedication and contributions have made a lasting impact on the Northern Poconos.
Tom Fasshauer of Arts for Him & Her Too has been named Business Person of the Year.
The Citizen of the Year Award will be presented to Anita Avvisato and Mike Rollison.
The Cooperage Project has been chosen as the Non-Profit Organization of the Year.
Tickets cost $85 per person and must be reserved by Thursday, September 25, at www.NorthernPoconos.org.
To further commemorate the occasion, a keepsake booklet is being prepared for the evening. Businesses and community members are invited to join in celebrating the honorees by placing congratulatory advertisements. A full-page ad costs $135, a half-page ad costs $75, and a quarter-page ad costs $50. Ads must be submitted electronically to members@northernpoconos.org by September 25.
Tickets and advertising opportunities are limited, and early reservations are encouraged.
