LIVINGSTON MANOR, NY — Catskill Brewery was awarded the Matthew Vassar Brewer’s Cup for the Best Craft Brewery in the Hudson Valley, and also earned a Silver Medal for the Grass Wagon IPA.
The awards were bestowed at the 2025 Tap NY Beer Festival & Competition, held June 28-29 in East Durham.
“We’re thrilled that the community sees and supports our commitment to quality, sustainability, and our mission of making the best beer in the region. Being named the best brewery in the Hudson Valley means a great deal to all of us.” said Catskill Brewery’s head brewer, Mike McQuiston. “This award reflects the passion and personal investment of our whole team, as well as the wonderful support we have from the entire region.”
Catskill Brewery has won multiple awards since its founding in 2014.
Awards at the Tap NY festival were given for various styles and categories, with many NY breweries competing, Catskill Brewery said.
The silver-winning Grass Wagon “was specifically designed to be very flavorful and aromatic, while remaining highly sessionable,” said McQuiston.
