LIBERTY, NY — On Sunday, November 29 at 2:30 p.m., the Family Council, along with family members and friends of the residents, joined for a parade and a walk around the Care Center at Sunset Lake.
The event was to show support and acknowledge the facility’s caregivers and workers for their dedication and compassion for the residents, as well as making all aware of the importance of keeping this facility county-owned and county-operated.
Participants included alpacas and a llama from Buck Brook Farm and Friends, riders on horseback and several walkers with their dogs. A ladder truck from the Youngsville Fire Department joined the procession to provide entertainment for the residents who remain isolated due to COVID-19 restrictions.
