HAWLEY, PA — Harmony in the Woods is halfway through its summer lineup of live music under the swaying treetops. First, composer, conductor and pianist Joseph Thalken returns at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 2 for his third appearance, this time with Liz Callaway, a prolific recording artist and Broadway veteran from the original “Merrily We Roll Along” and “Cats.”
Callaway provided the singing voices of many female characters in animated films, such as Anastasia in “Anastasia.” Their program will feature favorites from the stage and screen.
Saturday, August 3 brings a first to Harmony in the Woods: Fireside Collective. This bluegrass-jam band honors the roots music traditions of the Blue Ridge Mountains and has been garnering a fervent fanbase across the northeast and beyond.
Tickets to Thalken and Callaway cost $38 for general admission. Fireside Collective tickets cost $27.
