Baker welcomes district attorneys

HARRISBURG, NY — A group of prosecutors visited the Pennsylvania Senate on April 8 as part of their legislative outreach efforts with the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association. They met with Sen. Lisa Baker, the chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee, to discuss pertinent issues.

While at the Capitol, the district attorneys, including Stephanie Salavantis of Luzerne County; Ray Tonkin of Pike County; Michael Piecuch of Snyder County; Fran Chardo of Dauphin County; Dave Sunday of York County; and John Adams of Berks County, were introduced by Sen. Baker during session.

“As we all know, the DAs have been a consistent and constructive force in helping shape our laws, as well as in enforcing them,” Baker noted. “I am pleased by their effort and the constant interaction, as their jobs have become more difficult on so many fronts.”
