MONTICELLO, NY — Do you love bagels?  Really  love bagels?

Now’s your chance to show how original you are and what those rings of fabulousness mean to you.

The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce invites fans of bagels to become ambassadors at the first-ever Bagel Festival pageant.

To apply, submit a short video showing why you love bagels and why you think you would make a great ambassador. Complete the registration form at the link below and submit both to business@catskills.com by 12 noon on Friday, July 1..

Entries will be voted on by the public via social media on Facebook/Meta and Instagram from Saturday, July 2 to Wednesday, July 6.

The top three vote-getters must attend the Sullivan County chamber’s First Friday Breakfast on July 8 at the Forestburgh Playhouse, where a winner will be named. 

The winner will be crowned at the Bold Gold Music Festival during the 2022 Bagel Festival, Sunday, August 14. 

Winner(s) will be required to represent the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce Bagel Festival and make four quality public appearances between September 2022 and June 2023 on behalf of the Bagel Festival. 

You must be available to pass the crown(s) on to next year’s Bagel Festival pageant winner(s) at the 2023 bagel festival. 

People of all ages are encouraged to enter.
