MILFORD, PA — The ARTery Gallery will present a new exhibit of work by two of its members, Rosalind Hodgkins and Debbie Gioello, beginning July 12. “Mythic Allegories” is the title of a new series of paintings by Hodgkins. Her painting is influenced by Greek and Roman mythology and the allegorical affect these myths have on western civilization which pervades our culture. Gioello’s art is not limited to any one style or technique, evident from her changing monthly installations at the ARTery. Her new body of work encompasses metamorphosing controlled movement with figurative undertones, executed using acrylic paint on paper, matted and framed under glass.
