HONESDALE, PA — Several businesses on Main Street in Honesdale are doubling as art galleries today. From 4 p.m. until 8 p.m., the Wayne County Arts Alliance is holding its inaugural First Friday Art Walk.
Art galleries can be found throughout Honesdale at Irving Cliff Brewery, Alley Whey, Nature’s Grace, DJ Harvey Agency, Bodhi Tree and RE/MAX Wayne. The main gallery is located inside Missing Pieces, but is not open until March.
The work of Christopher Peroni is on display at the Harvey Agency and Bodhi Tree. Peroni has created an exhibit of masks and costumes.
“Some faces are recognizable and bring back fond memories, others are only vaguely familiar—almost as if from a deja vu or primal dream—but all have influenced us,” Peroni said of his work. Peroni has worked as a set director on independent films and currently runs The Old Sandhouse Antiques & Uniques in White Mills, PA.
First Friday Art Walks will take place on the first Friday of every month until April 8.
